Whether your going away on summer vacation or headed south for the winter, leave it to us to keep your home safe and sound.

Building Inspector will regularly monitor, maintain and provide professional quality care for your home or vacation property during your absence; fulfilling your insurance requirements and giving you peace of mind. As an affordable alternative to property management, we provide weekly, bi-monthly and monthly checks custom designed to fulfill your specific needs.

Exterior Service Includes:

• Comprehensive exterior inspection of house, grounds and dock (if applicable).
• Ensure all doors, windows, gates, and out-buildings are locked and properly secured.
• Clean off driveway, walkways, porches, decks, and stairs.
• Inspect all exterior openings, crawl spaces, and/or basement for signs of moisture and insect/rodent entry.
• Provide severe weather storm inspections.
• Spray for bees around exterior of home.
• Check for proper drainage around home and property’s exterior.

Interior Service Includes:

• Refresh the house by turning on ceiling fans and opening windows and doors for 15 minutes.
• Check air conditioner/heating settings on thermostat(s), and replace filters quarterly.
• Periodic house cleaning(hourly charges apply.)
• Check all lights and replace bulbs as necessary.
• Test all GFCI outlets.
• Ensure that all appliances and hot water heater are operational.
• Check refrigerator, freezer, and wine cooler temperatures.
• Inspect for leaks under sinks and around appliances.
• Flush and bleach toilets, run faucets and showers.
• Clean dryer vent quarterly.
• Replace smoke alarm batteries as needed.
• Water plants as needed and/or ensure automatic sprinkler systems are functioning.
• Start vehicles and boats if accessible, noting battery health.
• Place trash out for collection.
• Meet emergency services (alarm response.)
• Receive deliveries (UPS,FedEx, etc.)
